Every Website designing company has its own procedure to design a website. Planet Website Design is also a part of website designing business and today I am going to show you our work process of building a brand new website for a client.
8 steps of web designing process.
1. New Project Information Gathering
PWD will email you a new project feedback form. It has to be filled to the best of your capability and mailed as soon as possible.
Here are some of the details that we require for a new project.
- Who the client is and what is their business Industry or what services they provide?
- Do they have any reference website or do they have any website that they like the most?
- List some competitor’s sites and what you like and dislike about them.
- What is the budget for your project? Does this include hosting and maintenance?
- Describe the nature of your business.
- Describe the targeted audience

After getting all the information about your web design requirements we will start working on your project (Before we start working on your project you have to pay 50% down payment). At this point we will start working on layout we will design layout as per your requirements.

3. Layout Approval from Client
Once the layout is completed we will send it to you (client). You have to check that layout and have to provide a feedback with details on the changes. If there are any changes from your side we will change it and then we will send it to you for approval. Once you have approved the layout PWD will start development.
4. Development Process
After getting approval for layout PWD will start developing it. PWD will start working on it and we will upload it on our testing server. While the website is under developing process you will be able to monitor your website on our testing server (PWD will provide you the URL of that testing website).
5. Content Fill-In
After completing task of development we will start filling your content into the website. You should email us content, photographs or PDF document that you need to add in your website. On receiving the content PWD will place all the content, images and other documents on the website.
6. Website Review and approval
Once all the development, programming and content fill-in work is done PWD will show you the final design (This is what you will see in live website) on testing server, if you need any change before making your website live you have to inform us and we will make those changes according to your requirements.
7. Website live
After getting final approval from your side we will upload your new website on the server and make it live. (Final payment has to be completed before making website live)
8.Website Maintenance
We also provide maintenance services. If you need to change or need to update your website on monthly basis PWD will provide you the maintenance services at very affordable rates.
